What is the hunger scale for intuitive eating?
The intuitive eating hunger scale is a tool that can be used to help you identify your level of hunger or fullness. It helps you be more in tune with your body’s signals and enables you to selfregulate.
The scale goes from 1 to 10, 1 being ravenous, 10 being achingly full, and 5 being a neutral middle ground.
In this video, I give you some tips on how to use the hunger and fullness scale, and at which numbers you should start and stop eating. I also discuss what happens when you reach the extremes of the scale. Finally, I talk about whether you should use the intuitive eating hunger scale all the time or not. The intuitive eating hunger scale is a great tool to help you identify your hunger levels and help you be more in tune with your physical cues!
