Alex is a midcontent wolfdog who is notorious for scent rolling on anything new. He did his best to do so with the GoPro, but couldn't quite figure out how to get a good angle on it.

Wolves and wolfdogs (as well as other canines) will often scent roll on objects that smell interesting or that are new. They will also often roll on items they want to mark as their own. Alex would always scent roll on me as soon as I entered his enclosure to mark me as his human, but this time I had a fun other thing to roll on too. I was wearing the GoPro on my head, and Alex was just as interested in it as he was in me.

After this initial encounter with the GoPro, Alex never scent rolled on it again. It was apparently not quite interesting enough to get his attention every time it came out, but luckily I was lucky enough to always be greeted with scent rolling and kisses.
