Lakomi simply cannot handle me paying attention to her packmate Masaw rather than to her. Lakomi is an uppermid content wolfdog and Masaw is a low content wolfdog living in sanctuary.

Masaw is the calm, sweet, sane boy who somehow is the only creature Lakomi loves (other than me). He puts up with her chaos and she adores him. But not even love can convince her that another animal should be getting pets instead of her. Masaw is a chubby low content wolfdog (due to a thyroid condition). He is 12 years old and generally very sweet and loving. It's hard to believe he ended up in a sanctuary, but even the calmest, sweetest wolfdogs can be too much for most people, so it's important to always consider our individual capability to care for these animals.
