First, I've heard it said that families are the building blocks of society.
In many families, throughout time, we have heard that kitchens (or campfires) were often the hub of family life. Even today, it's where conversations take place. It's where decisions are made. It's where connections are made...(You get the idea.)
Anyway, in my kitchen, I share a lot of country cooking (often in the Instant Pot), as well as occasional thoughts on selfcare (physical and mental). That's because, I care about those things for myself and others!
I also think that cooking at home saves money and gives us greater control over what goes into our bodies.
I also grew up in a time when kitchens were great places for conversations ... about family, health, selfcare, and wanted to share some of those thoughts with you.
