I realize that some will have a problem with this recipe, but Fried Rabbit was a dish quite enjoyed in my home growing up. And it's definitely country!
For those who have never tried it, it tastes a lot like chicken, but ... different and very tasty!
Of note, it has become rather expensive compared to my childhood. I just thought you ought to know.
If you decide to try it, here's what you will need for frying your rabbit.
Ingredients:
Oil Enough to have at least 1/2 inch in your skillet
2 c. Flour
Season to taste with Salt, Pepper, & Garlic Powder (or herbs of your choice.)
Note: Basically, rabbit is cooked like frying chicken. Therefore, if you'd like, you could use seasonings that you enjoy for fried chicken.
