Why are They Called Ragdolls?

A lot of people ask me how the Ragdoll breed got its name. The reason for the name is because when you pick them up, many will go limp in your arms like a rag doll toy. This is one of our kittens, a blue mink girl. She is pretty floppy when held. We breed Ragdoll kittens in Charlotte NC.
