Question of the Day: Someone posted an image of me on YouTube and I don’t know the video, I’m super anxious and scared. Can they track me down with a picture of me, or do anything?

If you don’t know enough information about the video to find it with a search and/or it’s not tagged with your name, you may not be able to find it. Additionally, this would have to be a situation where a person would see the image and be able to identify you from everyone on the planet. They might have to pull a screenshot from the video and try to do a revere image search to try to identify you or otherwise have information with which to find information about you.

If legal questions were easy, we wouldn’t need lawyers.
