Oakridge, Oregon...It's a place of almost mythical stature in the mountain biking world. So many people have told me it's their favorite place to ride that I had to go check it out for myself the first chance I got. So I did, and the first trail I rode there was Dead Mountain. We took a Cog Wild shuttle from Oakridge up the hill and then proceeded to ride all the way back down to town. We hit it on an exceptionally hot and humid June day, but it was still super rad. As you can see from the footage, the scenery and surroundings are just incredible. It's so intense that you really can't take it all in while you're there, so I'm really glad I have this video. Throughout the editing process, it got hammered home how good this place really is. My own video makes me want to go so bad, so hopefully it has that same effect on you!
