Another group of volunteers from the Yosemite Southgate Trail Cooperative spent an August Saturday continuing work on the brand new downhill trail on Ely Mountain in Shaver Lake, CA. On this particular day, our group got the remainder of the trail from where we left off on the last work day extended all the way to the fire road and its ending point. The trail is not finished, but roughed in. Once mother nature throws a little moisture, we'll be back up there to shape and fine tune the entire route.
