Today, I’m answering the question, How do I get started with Nutrisystem to help you get ready for your first month and give you some tips on things you can do to prepare even before your first order has arrived.

I started my weight loss journey when I was 14 years old. I’ve been dieting since I could remember. I’d lose and gain and do it again only to find myself right back where I started. It wasn’t until last year I really started to understand the correlation between our minds and what we think about... affecting our external circumstances...including weight.

I spent a lot of time trying to change the external without first dealing with the internal. The changes on the outside were always shortlived, until last year when I started being more intentional about my mental health and taking some time to ask myself some really hard questions.

Weight loss isn't just about what you do, but it's how you think. So, doing the right things is good, like counting calories for a season...but they can't be the thing you rely on for long term success. Long term LASTING weight loss is only achieved when you get to the root of why you do what you do and then changing inside and out. It's about becoming someone who does healthy things and makes choices. To lose weight, it's important to address the emotional baggage too. It works! I've done it! It's slow, but it does.
