Fishing industry's leaked secret attack plan on the new Netflix original documentary Seaspiracy has been exposed by Plant Based News. This video is going to be my response to the letter for the attack by the fishing and seafood industry written prior to the release of the documentary.

The film Seaspiracy captures and addresses the fishing industry's darkest secrets an alarming global corruption. It exposes everything from its illegal activities in the oceans, destruction of the oceans, ocean life decimation from overfishing, bycatch, how commercial fishing affects climate change, and human trafficking within the industry, etc. Please watch the documentary as we are all collectively responsible for protecting our oceans, the planet, the animals and the people.

Facts: 3/4 of the world's fisheries are exploited, 87% are either over exploited or fully exploited. The world edible fish have declined by 90%. 300,000 dolphins and whales are killed by the fishing operations every year, and 30,000 sharks every hour. For every pound of fish caught, up to 5 pounds of unintended marine species are caught and discarded as bycatch or bykill. We could have fishless oceans by the year 2048 if we kept fishing at the current rate. As many as 24,000 fisheries workers die doing their job at sea every year, and it is among the most dangerous occupations in the world.
