THE STORY

Now retired, my dad has over 50 years of experience as a Chinese chef. Everything he makes is SO GOOD. You won't regret trying this recipe!

Also known as “gaai láan” in Cantonese, this is a super easy recipe that I ate almost every single week growing up. Even for a “simple” dinner, my dad would have at least 3 or 4 courses, and gai lan was always in the rotation as his goto vegetable dish.
