The gorilla house was very tense from the morning.
I could not find Shabani's son Kiyomasa there, and Shabani was very irritated.

I immediately realized that there was trouble between Shabani and Kiyomasa, because the same thing had happened in February of this year, and it was similar to what had happened then.

This time, too, I was convinced when I saw Kiyomasa coming out of the basement and then returning to the basement again when he found Shabani.
I don't know what happened between them, but Kiyomasa kept avoiding Shabani the whole time.

After a while, Kiyomasa was able to be in the same room with Shabani, but his anger at Shabani did not seem to subside.
He must have been under a lot of stress, because he had some wounds on his finger.

Later, Kiyomasa provoked Shabani several times, but Shabani responded calmly.
However, because Kiyomasa put his hands on Shabani, Shabani intimidated Kiyomasa.
Female gorillas Nene, Ai, and Annie saw this and tried to stop Shabani.
In my opinion, however, this was not Shabani's fault.

Shabani was frustrated the whole day, but I think he handled Kiyomasa calmly.
The female gorillas, Nene and Ai, were also aggressive toward Shabani last time, but this time they worked together with Shabani.

And Annie, Shabani's daughter, was so anxious and stressed last time that she lost her energy to the point that her stomach was flat,
This time, however, she was relaxed enough to smile at me from time to time.

However, she is eating much less than usual, so I hope she will eat slowly and without straining.

Also, October 20 is Shabani's birthday.
If possible, I hope that Shabani and Kiyomasa will be back together by his birthday, and that the Shabani troop will be back to its usual happy self.

And what will happen to Kiyomasa's future?
Personally,
1. build a new facility for bachelor (single male gorillas) groups and spend time there with Gentaro (and Kintaro and Riki)
2. Form a group of Kiyomasa with female gorillas at the new facility.
I think one of the following is preferable, but both of them may be difficult and impractical to realize immediately.

If they go by the typical Japanese breeding method, they would keep Shabani and Kiyomasa separately in the same facility, but I personally do not think this is a very desirable method.

But for now, rather than looking ahead, I sincerely hope that they will quickly return to the Shabani family they were when they were close.

Because until a week ago, Shabani and Kiyomasa were playing wrestling outside in a relaxed and friendly manner with a burlap sack in tow.
