Real Irish Moss is made with Chondrus Crispus (which actually comes from Ireland and other cooler waters) NOT Gracilaria (Gracilaria is NOT Irish Moss!) This video explains how to make REAL Irish Moss gel 3 different ways.

Why Use Sea Moss Gel?

For overall health, I use it to "fill in the gaps" to get minerals that I don't get grocery store produce due to the soil being deficient.

For weight gain goals, it helps keep my bones healthy which is needed when lifting weights as you can't do weight bearing exercises (especially squats) if you have bad joints (bad knees). Also potassium especially is needed to reduce muscle cramps as it is an electrolyte. This is why some people hydrate with coconut water after an intense workout session. You want to make sure you are HEALTHY when gaining weight.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I do NOT make the claim that sea moss has "92 minerals out of the 102 minerals the body needs. There are over 30,000 sea moss genus and species from all over the world, and all of them have not been tested for this statement to be true (it could be, I just have not confirmed it yet so I can't make that statement). However, as a long time consumer of sea veggies in general, (not just sea moss), I do know that sea vegetation is high in things like iodine, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, and sulfer. Once again please read the linked articles above for more information (I will linked them below again). You will find sources linked to different marine sites so you can start to conduct your own research. Be an educated consumer!
