Katherine Parr would be Henry VIII's final and sixth wife, and her life was a study in patience. She would be the most married of Henry's consorts, marrying four times, but Katherine was also his most intellectual wife, writing several books and contributing hugely to the education of women. She would also be responsible for repairing the relationship between Henry and his daughters. But she would not find her own romance until she was well into her 30s, as a widow for the third time, and it would not end happily...
