Not very much is known about Jane Seymour, and yet she was the most successful, in many ways, of Henry VIII's wives. She stayed queen admittedly only for less than two years, thanks to her untimely death gave Henry the prince he wanted, reinstated Mary to her father's favour, and raised her own family's status.
