One of the most beautiful and unique deserts in the world is located in the northeast of Mexico: Cuatro Cienegas is located in the middle of a valley, surrounded by the imposing Coahuila mountains.

Here there are more than 250 bodies of water, from wetlands, streams and pools, which serve as true oases in the hostile environment of the desert.

Each of the oases is a different ecosystem, which has fostered the evolution of its unique species such as microorganisms, reptiles and fish, as well as its exceptional cacti.
