Banana Cream
ingredients:
24 pcs. saba, ripe
300ml condensed milk
250ml all purpose cream
410ml evaporated milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
100g margarine
toppings:
Cheese, grated
This dessert is consists of sweetened bananas, known as Minatamis na
saging, combined with a cream sauce. The idea is to blend the richness of a
creamy sauce with the inherent sweetness of bananas.
The term Minatamis na Saging here refers to the Filipino dessert of boiling bananas or plantains or saba in a sweet syrup consisting of water and brown sugar. The term cream sauce refers to the addition of a creamy component, such as evaporated milk and all purpose cream.
