These Japanese fish cakes are healthy and delicious! They can be added to soups, noodles or eaten with sauces!
INGREDIENTS:
2.5 swai fish fillet
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar (opt.)
1.5 tsp. mirin
1 tsp. white wine or cooking wine
white pepper powder
red food coloring
DIRECTIONS:
1. cube your fish and put into blender
2. add in seasonings and 1 egg white
3. blend into paste
4. add red food coloring to about 1/4 of the mixture
5. add yolk to about 1/4 of the mixture
6. spread paste across saran wrap as shown in video and roll tightly to prevent air bubbles
7. steam for 15 minutes (depends on size of the roll)
8. slice, serve, and enjoy!
