Husband says: "Let's show people how one can heat copper too high and empty and how fast you can wreck it if you don't follow the rules!"

I say: "What?! Why would I wreck one of our pans on purpose!?"

He says: "But you can just take it in the garage and fix it..."

So we are now without a skillet for eggs in the morning.

BUT you can see how fast a tinlined copper skillet will soften under mediumhigh / high heat, when there's no food in it.

I guess we're going to do one with a bit of food on high sometime, too. You know, wreck another pan. Because my husband thinks it's fun.
