I often get a lot of questions on what exactly I'm using when I tin copper cookware. Well, here's a visual (in the hot heat of July in the garage shop!) on what I use and for what purpose!

Please note that the cookware is always properly prepped for tinning when I get to this stage this means stripped, sanded, scrubbed, washed, and super clean. Without the initial 75% of the front work (prepping the copper) this tinning process won't work.

Also note that this job requires a lot of ventilation as well as the proper safety gear, and there is fire and there are several different power tools used before and after the tinning process. If there's an interest in that, let me know!
