In this episode I provide the history of the third generation of the Ford Mustang, commonly known as the Fox Body Mustang, as it was introduced in 1979 along with several other cars under the Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln brands that shared the same Fox platform. Although a huge seller in its first year, the following years of the Fox Body mustang saw sales drop each year, despite some special performance models, such as the SVO Cobra, bringing back the GT trim, and for just one year, the 1993 SVT Cobra and SVT Cobra R. In 1994, a revised version of the Fox body, called SN95, became the fourth generation Mustang.
