This soup can be completed within a tight timeframe, thanks to the preparation method of fish maw above. All it takes is to prep the fish maw at the night before, then it can be readily used for the cooking on the day. Ingredients for four:
(dry) Fish maw: 4 pcs (about 2 taels ≈75.6 grams)
Fresh chicken: ½ pcs (incl. legs)
Chinese yam: 4 tales (≈151.2 grams)
Prickly waterlily seeds: 20 grams
Chinese wolfberries: 10 grams
Jinhua ham: 10 grams
Coriander: 1 bunch
Grounded pepper: ⅛ tsp
Soy sauce: ½ tsp
Water: 68 bowls
Ginger: 4 slices (for preparation)
Bunching onion base: 4 pcs (for preparation)
