In 2022, Narcissus flycatchers nested in the hood of a ventilation fan... I made a video of it.
The nesting was already done, so I had to pop one of the appropriate cameras... I failed to set up the microphone, so there is almost no sound.
Narcissus flycatchers nested in the same spot a few years ago, but this time they were attacked by sparrows and failed to breed. This year, all five chicks left the nest. I was so happy ...
After they left the nest, I knew they had been around for a while from their chirps, but I could not see them clearly until 9 days later, when four of them were in a group on a garden tree! The other bird was also far away, so all the chicks were alive for at least 9 days.... I hope they will come back next year and we will be able to see them raising their cute little chicks again...
