Best Cornbread

1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
1 whole egg
1/3 cup milk
2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
3 Tbsp mayonnaise

Lightly whisk all ingredients until just combined.
Add pan release to a cast iron skillet or muffin tins
Add mixture and bake 400 degrees F oven for 20 minutes or until nicely browned.

Serve with butter and enjoy!

3/4 cup cornmeal
1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
