Scent Work has so many benefits. Dogs get to use their instinct to smell, have fun, and build confidence and teamwork. And you can use boxes – yes, plain, old boxes – to get started. Our speaker, Jacy Kelley was a trainer in the Air Force teaching dogs to find explosives. Since 2010, though, as he taught K9 Nose Work® to companion dogs, he has noticed how these dogs’ behavior has changed. Jacy will discuss these changes, and he will demonstrate some of the games you can play at home.
