The study I was referring to in the video was conducted by Ancel Keys back in the II World War and is known as Starvation Study or Minnesota Starvation Experiment https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minneso...
After just a few weeks of 1800 calories/day, those people in the experiment became obsessed with foods, recipes, cooking magazines, food porn is called. They were craving all the time. Some gave up the study. Some became aggressive. Some went to shoplift and binge on those stolen groceries. And all became irritable, moody, even depressed.

A Life Without Cravings is Possible. When we eat HOW we are supposed to and ENOUGH of it, we are well nurtured and go about our life without thinking about food until the next meal. No snacking or cravings for something sweet, no more trips to the fridge or pantry to reach for "something good". You don't feel the need for a treat.

And this right food for our species is the one rich in carbohydrates. Simple and complex carbs, natural ones, not the processed ones, refined and isolated from the whole nutrition that comes with nature's creations.

Eat fruits, sweet fruits, a lot of them. You won't ever overeat on these foods, very high in water and fiber. Eat 23 pounds of sweet fruits (bananas, papaya, sweet apples, mangos, figs, grapes, etc) per meal and you have no more than 800 calories in that meal. Multiply this number by 3 meals a day (more fruits, and starches like potatoes, sweet potatoes, whole grains, legumes, plus nonstarchy vegetables) and you have a daily intake of 2400 calories. If you are overweight and have a good number of extra pounds of body weight, of course, you need to eat more than that, follow HUNGER and SATIETY. I was having over 1000 calories per meal when I was overweight and I have lost weight eating like that.

Choose High Carb Low Fat Plant Based foods. Choose sugars, natural sugars. You will lose weight while eating in abundance, never portion control, never cutting calories, never pursuing a calorie deficit, never eating under 2200 calories/day.

You will lose weight like I've lost, you will lean down, and get healthy. SUSTAINABLY!!!

When you eat enough calories from the right food, you HONOUR YOUR HUNGER. That is why you stop craving. Cravings are just a symptom of a deficient diet. And a life without cravings is HEAVEN ON EARTH.
