1. Become aggressive

If a cat becomes aggressive for no reason,
it could be that she is emotionally hurt.

For example, if the owner scolds the cat harshly,
such as yelling at her or punishing her, she will be afraid of the owner.

That’s why the cat might show aggressive behavior,
such as hissing or biting,
when the owner approaches her or tries to touch her.

Also, cats can get hurt not only by humans
but also by other animals.

For example, when another pet joins the household,
cats can become aggressive
as they feel their territory has been invaded.


2. Act cold

When cats love the owner a lot,
they express affection by making purring sounds
or rubbing against the owner’s legs.

However, cats can be heartbroken
if the owner spends less time with them
or scolds them harshly.

When their feelings have been hurt,
cats will act cold,
maintaining distance and not showing cute behavior.


3. Refuse to be touched

If cats are emotionally hurt,
they can refuse human touch.

This happens when the owner forces them to do something they don’t like,
such as clipping their claws
or brushing their teeth.

In addition, cats can even refuse to be touched by their owner
when he/she smells like other cats
or things that they dislike.

Sometimes, cats also refuse to be touched by the owner
because they are physically sick, not because their feelings are hurt.

When this happens, the owner should take a closer look
at the cat's appetite, bowel condition, and behavior.


4. Hide

Cats who are heartbroken
may hide in places that they like
without a break.

Such behavior can usually be seen when they have been to the vet
or have been forced to dress up.
