►吉貝是澎湖北邊的離島。公費醫師海龜是島上唯一的醫師。太太盈葦24歲時離開台灣的驗光師工作跟著先生來到這裡生活。


► 這對夫妻有兩個家一個是馬公的自宅一個是吉貝的衛生所宿舍。離島醫師是24小時待命睡在衛生所樓上的宿舍才能方便應急。因此兩人大多時候待在吉貝每到海龜休假他們才會坐船回馬公。

最初盈葦住在馬公為了不當假日夫妻決定愛相隨到吉貝。

「我的初衷就是想要跟我先生生活在一起啊不然我就在台灣就好了啊何必要遠渡重洋過來」


　► 然而吉貝的生活卻和馬公有所不同。盈葦在吉貝認識過的朋友沒多久就調回本島只剩下先生和小狗飛飛在島上和她作伴。

驗光師在馬公工作機會不多更別說是在吉貝了。小島生活寂寞盈葦透過手作找到寄託但也對自己感到迷惘。

「以前大家都覺得我很優秀然後我就覺得好像投身家庭的時候大家就覺得好像『哈哈也這樣而已。』我就覺得..唉。」
