30歲的巫瑪芙來自台東利稻部落她身高153公分是這一行比較少見的女性高山協作員。
「女生對著我說『哇女生爬上來了耶』我說『你也是女生呀你也上來啦你也很厲害。』」

高山協作員俗稱「揹工」。得揹起重達2030公斤的物資負重走山路以人力將物資送到交通工具不易抵達的山區。從登山團體的公糧到山屋整修的建材等都是由協作員一步一步背上去的。

也許是對年輕人來說較優渥的薪資也許是從小跟爸爸在山裡打獵的情感讓巫瑪芙選擇這份職業。但70歲的爸爸余忠慶年輕時也做過協作員他期待這個大學畢業的老么要下山做個更穩定更安全的工作。

利稻人口外移嚴重除了就業不易加上路面時有落石。巫瑪芙的哥哥姊姊幾乎都離開部落她也不例外。高山犬「巧虎」是巫瑪芙最好的生活夥伴。

家有七個小孩過去爸爸扛家計酒精是精神支柱。小時候的巫瑪芙很想早點離家。直到5年前爸爸打獵意外走火受傷決心戒酒。

現在巫瑪芙和哥哥姊姊們多在山下生活放假就帶著孩子和大包小包的補給上山看爸媽。
