The New Mutants wasn't much of a franchise finale, but 2014's XMen Days of Future Past is a perfect showcase of just how high the Marvel XMen movies can rise a great movie all around, with an Infinity Warlike ensemble cast coming together for one story etc. But the thing that really stands out about Days of Future Past is its use of time travel.
