Matt Reeves' The Batman finally released to give us a new Batman in form of Robert Pattinson. And despite the insane expectations, it still managed to deliver, getting great a great reception from audiences and making loads of money at the box office despite tough circumstances. Which isn't that surprising because it draws a lot from one of the greatest murder mystery detective thrillers, David Fincher's Se7en. I touched on Se7en back in the day in hopes that The Batman would learn a few key things from it, and a lot of it did learn, but other things it did differently. The Batman (2021)
