An absolute trouserbanger of a day of work in this episode! We remove the freshwater tank and clean up the chain locker, adding a new spanky coat of white gelcoat and tidying up the poor glasswork and filling. Wifey removes the forward cabin roof cowling ready for it to be reinforced and patched with fresh glass and gelcoat. This is the best day of work we've managed on the project so far there's finally one part of the boat which is demonstrably better than it was when we got the boat to the yard!

We're now ready to place our order for core materials, a few hundred square meters of combination glass matt, resin, topcoat primer and highgloss topcoat. All of this is coming from our regular suppliers, East Coast Fibreglass here in the UK they've been amazingly helpful with advice and giving us great quotes for all we need, and especially for paint and gelcoat in custom colours!

In the next episode, we'll provide details of our immense materials order, start cutting out the sole in the forward cabin and checking the inside of the hull in preparation for removing the forward cabin bulkhead for replacement!
