Departing from the Tasmanian West Coast town of Strahan, we enjoyed a boat trip to Hells Gate, Sarah Island and along the Gordon River (this episode) in the world famous UNESCO World Heritage rainforest.
Logging here is now a thing of the past, the area is totally protected and contains stands of Huon Pine, King Billy Pine and other valuable and ancient temperate rainforest trees.
Enjoy the unique and spectacular ride to an area only accessible by water. Pity about the rain, must be rainforest .......
