After my fishing buddy pulled out on me at the eleventh hour, and with a short window of moderate weather between heat waves, I decided to solo for a couple of days at Katarapko creek in search of some big carp, and hopefully, some natives as well. The fish cooperated beautifully, but the size at first was sadly lacking!
