On a recent road trip to Victoria, my wife and I decided to go on the PS Pyap paddlesteamer tour.
This was a one hour cruise upsteam on the Murray River to the Murray Downs homestead and return to the dock at the Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement and was an enjoyable and informative look into what travelling on the river was like a hundred years ago or more.
Well worth the very reasonable cost and recommended if you are ever up that way in the future.
