When the sliver of the moon first becomes visible with the naked eye, before the spring equinox but less than 15 days prior to the equinox. That day would be the 1st day of God's 1st month.

Passover begins on the 15th day of our Lord's 1st month. Resulting in The Passover beginning March 25 and ending on March 31.
