Unveiling canine brain tumors: Insights, diagnostics, and treatment strategies
Led by Susan Arnold, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)
Dogs develop aggressive brain tumors at a rate that is similar to people. In this session, we will review the types of brain tumors that dogs can get, with a focus on gliomas. Dr. Arnold covers signs associated with brain tumors, how tumors are diagnosed, and available treatment options. Dr. Arnold concludes with a description of the UMN Canine Brain Tumor Program, which provides hope to pets, their families, and people with the same types of tumors as those that dogs get.
