Trooper, our twelve years and 2 months old Yellow Lab, was adopted from SouthEastern Guide Dogs in September of 2012.
I didn't want to get another dog because of the painful experience I had with losing my previous puppy, Beau, at only nine years old.
But my wife insisted.... she knew something was not right with her.. Sure enough she succumbed to Parkinson's in 2017.... and I thank her quite often for giving me this precious gift.
He has been my Guardian Angel from the first day we picked him up. We will be together again.
