Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing our brand new Tovala Air Fryer to share our experience using it and compare it to our Smart Oven Pro (previously "Gen 2").

Tovala has introduced a new smart oven air fryer that promises simpler and smarter air frying, among other features. The Smart Oven Air Fryer includes five cooking modes (air fry, bake, broil, toast, and reheat), a powerful convection fan for a crispiness guarantee, and scantocook functionality.

The scantocook functionality is my personal favorite aspect of Tovala because it allows you to just scan a meal, throw all the food on their tray, and let it cook. Their app will even notify you when it's done cooking.

Next, you can buy normal frozen meals from your local grocery store and use Tovala's scantocook function to cook it without having to even look at the cooking instructions on the box. This is pretty incredible!

Last, you can make your own recipes. Tovala has hundreds of recipes on their app but you can also create custom recipes for meals you cook often. This is what we often do and what you'll see us do in the video.
