Istanbul's thousands of street cats are fed, sheltered and cooed at by an adoring public. Istanbul wouldn’t be the same without its many stray cats, which have become part of the city’s soul. Most of the cats here have been neutered. Cuts and marks on cats' ears mean neutering. There are many cat houses, water pots, and food containers in this park. The municipality provides treatment for the cats here. Hundreds of animal lovers come to this park every day to feed and love these cats.
These cats all know me. They see me as their father. They are my children. Today I will feed my kids wet cat food and dry cat food. It was a nice feast.
