Patient around 60 years old with abrupt lateral edge toenail and an inverted edge in the medial area of the left hallux.
On this occasion, I did a cleaning of the nail and trimming the nail plate.
I completely release the pressure of the groove. In this way, the patient presents immediate relief from all the symptoms caused by this toenail when it is too long and with an incorrect cut.

Regarding the use of anesthesia, which is something that I am asked very often...
In Argentina, podiatrists are prohibited from using injectable anesthesia in procedures. This is why I do not use anesthesia and I try to be extremely careful during the procedure so as not to cause pain. They are not painful procedures.
