The Three Rules of Fission Knitting are:
Background stitches have 2 loops on the needle. Purl them.
Design stitches facing the back have 1loop on the needle. Slip them purlwise with your marl in front.
Design stitches facing the front have 1 loop on the needle. Knit it through the back loop with its current colour.
