For most of their adult lives, Lucille and Wendell (“Bud”) Hurlbut kept a daily journal of their professional and personal experiences. With the generous support of the Orange County Archives, these diaries have been unsealed for the first time in many decades to reveal the untold story behind Knott’s most famous attraction.
