We are off to the Stoneship Age! After returning from Channelwood and inserting the first set of red and blue pages, we head off to the next age in search of more clues to what happened. Why are the ages empty? What happened with Sirus and Achenar? Just more mysteries to solve as we continue our full playthrough of Myst (2021).

This is a blind playthrough of Myst (2021), the Myst remake by Cyan Worlds. In episode 3, we travel to the Stoneship Age and learn more about Atrus and his ability to use The Art: to write linking books and conjure whole worlds using written words. We learn more about Sirus and Achenar, and start to see some of the worlds that Atrus explores. This is a complete remake (in Unreal) of the classic Myst game from 19993, so let’s play Myst (2021)!

I intend to make this a full let’s play Myst (2021) series. I played the original Myst from 1993 and fell in love with the story, worldbuilding, and puzzles. I can’t wait to see how the Myst remake has reimagined the world, explore the secrets of Myst island and the other worlds, and unravel the mysterious history of Myst and its prior inhabitants. Since the game has been remade completely in Unreal engine (the original was a pointandclick adventure), I am very excited. A full playthrough of Myst (2021) is very exciting for me and will focus on exploring the environment, finding snippets of lore, and enjoying the classic puzzles. The oldschool Myst gameplay is always compelling and I can’t wait to play more of it. So join me, and let’s play Myst (2021)!

In Myst (and Myst (2021)), we find ourselves transported to the Island of Myst and must piece together the story from scattered clues and puzzles. The world is full of exploration, wonderful sights, and imaginative touches. Myst – both the game and the island – are exceptional, and I can’t wait for the full playthrough.

In Episode 1 of the Myst (2021) blind playthrough, we arrive on the island and must begin solving the puzzles. In Episode 2 of the rebuilt and reimagined Myst (2021), we travel to the Channelwood Age to find our first red and blue pages. In Episode 3 of the remastered Myst (2021), we raise the ship on the Island of Myst and head to the Stoneship Age to retrieve another set of red and blue pages. In this adventure game – the oldschool puzzle and adventure game from 1993 – almost everything relates to a puzzle. I’m very curious to see where things go from here, particularly because I don’t exactly remember every puzzle in Myst. So get ready for some interesting times as we play Myst (2021) together!
