Uru: Ages Beyond Myst is a puzzleadventure video game developed by Cyan Worlds and published by Ubisoft, originally released in November 2003. It follows the discovery and restoration of an ancient city built by the D’ni, a mysterious civilization that could create portals to other worlds by writing books. The game’s story is connected to the real world, as the D’ni were found by archeologists in the New Mexico desert and their history was revealed through the Myst series. The player starts near the entrance to the D’ni caves, where they meet Zandi and Yeesha, two characters who guide them on their journey to explore and revive the D’ni culture.
