As the only town in the north west Highlands and Islands, the bustling little port of Stornoway is a fixture on UK weather maps despite its modest population. It's the commercial and cultural centre for the Western Isles and has plenty to offer visitors, from shopping for Harris Tweed to enjoying a concert at An Lanntair.
