In this video we will look at the repair and restoration of a 24 volts starter motor.
This is a starter motor removed from a sino truck engine. the starter motor field coil and armature windings are all damaged. the probable cause of the damage is over cranking. over cranking would lead to temperature rise in the starter, that would cause starter motor temperature to increase.
see how to teardown and restore the starter. and we will look at how to finally test.
