KerdiBoard installation begins with checking studs. Studs should even with each other, plumb, and 16" oncenter.

Boards can be cut using a utility knife and installed to studs using Schluter screws and washers; screws/washers need to be 16" oncenter horizontally and 12" oncenter vertically.

Once boards are installed, all seams and screws need to be waterproofed using unmodified thinset (e.g. Kerabond) or Schluter's ALLSET along with KerdiBand. Sponge KerdiBond to make it smooth and remove any humps.

KerdiBoard can be connected to the tub using KerdiFix, KerdiBand, and unmodified thinset or ALLSET.
