Kotetsu's [Russian Blue] eyes seem to have retained their kitten blue color from when he was a kitten. Cats' eyes have a reflective layer behind their retina called the tapetum, which allows them to see in the dark. However, visual acuity itself is about 1/7 that of a human. The colors that can be seen are also limited.
